Too cool, my wife would probably play video games with me with a Fit.
I have a wii and will donate the system to her pediatric therapy clinic.

I am a recent newlywed, and my husband is turning 30 in a month and would die and go to heaven if he got a Wii and Wii Fit (then I would get the Wii all to myself! :).

Honestly, I've been debating what to get him for the past couple of months, and I really think this would be the ideal gift. Also, since we just upgraded to a 1000 sqft apartment (from 550 sqft -- yes, we live in Manhattan), we would actually have the room to use it!

By the way, my friends and I all love your blog and read it daily. We found out about it from the WSJ article -- great press!

It's strange that you post this today. I just started a diet today. Not just a diet, but a total overhall of what I put into my body. I've been carrying around extra weight most of my 18 years. It's been really hard on my body and it is a main cause for my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. I have to take 3 different prescriptions daily, and I would like to not have to put those chemicals in my body anymore. Not telling some kind of sob story, there are so many other worse things to have. I just am ready to change. Your recent posts about your cleanse have been really motivating, thank you. In general, your blog has really kept my spirits up, it is the first feed I check daily.

I am a graduate student about to write a dissertation that no one will ever read. I'll be stuck at a desk doing this for something like three years, I think... What better distraction/productive use of my time?

Wii Sports is probably the closest my family gets to regular exercise. Imagine what a Wii Fit could do! It would be amazing.

My brother recently pre-ordered a Wii Fit on Amazon.com but then never received it. After corresponding regularly (and increasingly angrily) with them, he still has no Wii Fit and has a) vowed never to order from Amazon again and b) requested that I win him a Wii Fit (which I shall never get to play, as he lives several thousand miles from me).

So here's the deal. My mom bought a wii last summer. I do not have a wii. My 50 year old mother is by default suddenly way hipper than her 23 yr. old daughter. I live in San francisco, she lives in seattle. When I go home she ANNIHILATES me at every game because she adores the wii so much she plays it every night. I would love to win a Wii, because then I could get started on two of my goals for the future: to entertain more (can we say, Rockband?) and to do a better job of taking care of myself physically. I am in law school, and I've found that the only way to stay on an even keel in the midst of the pressure cooker is to be physically active. Unfortunately, law school conspires against you and the angels of my better nature often lose out when the choice is, put on pants and go to the gym, or stay home on the couch and drink beer while pretending to study and watching Futurama. I think a Wii Fit might shame me into at least doing something because, hey, no pants required.

I was telling my friend George the other day about how my mom bought a Wii to entertain her granddaughter while she was around, since that penguin chat room isn't doing much for her anymore. His mouth fell open, wide, and he gasped, "Your MOM has a Wii, but YOU don't?"

It's true. Her Wii isn't even set up yet and it's been there for a week. She has three games and I have six. Neither of us have a Wii Fit, but out of the goodness of my heart I *might* be pursuaded to give it to her, you know, if I got it for free.
