Marlo turned six months old this week. HEE-YAAAAA-OHHH. That’s the sound I made when I realized that. And then I looked back and thought about all the life-altering chaos and craziness and absolute joy that has gone on in those six months, and the fact that I was given a second chance to enjoy having a baby, and I could not be happier. I credit Leta with making me a mother, and now I credit Marlo with showing me that the instinct has been there all along.
