The playroom

Over the weekend we put the finishing touches on Leta and Marlo’s playroom. It used to be stuffed floor to ceiling with random toys and puzzles and games, no rhyme or reason or organization whatsoever. So we made Leta sit down with us and whittle her collection of things to a manageable few, and the rest we donated. I wanted the room to feel cozy, and I specifically wanted to give Leta a place to crawl up and read all her books. And of course, there had to be pink.

The toys are now lined up neatly on a shelf at the other side of the room. At least until Christmas when Santa will bring her more crap.
