Calm

We’re lucky to live in a part of the country where tornadoes are infrequent if not a totally freak occurrence. But I grew up in Tennessee, so I know the dread that comes with the watches and warnings and that sickening siren that drowns out all other noises. My heart goes out to those whose lives have been harmed by the weather this year. The nine-year-old girl in me who used to sleep in the bathtub with her stuffed animals because that was the safest place in the house, she is right there with you.
