New Tunes – John Maus

2011/06/01

John Maus is a synth-pop artist who is also apparently a political philosophy and theory instructor al the University of Hawaii at Manoa. “Believer” is the first single off his upcoming album called We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves. Yeah. The nineteen-year-old humanities student in me just printed out his picture and put it above her bed. So she could think clean and pure thoughts about him.

This is for those of you too young to have lived through the sound of the Eighties, because this song takes all of its essence and distills into one resplendent anthem. You won’t be able to stop listening to this.
