Other possible diagnosis: Giardia. Symptoms include: diarrhea, excess gas, stomach or abdominal cramps, upset stomach, and nausea. Resulting dehydration may need immediate treatment. I use the word “possible” because they were going to have to send her stool sample back to the lab and charge us an extra $200, but in the interim the treatment was working.
