The front of the house faces west, so the best light for the front yard happens in the late afternoon. Now that the sun is lower in the sky it’s hitting the trees at a magical angle. The volcano of color made me stop the other night, breathe until my lungs were set to burst and think, damn. Life can be beautiful.
And then we all die.
