To the rescue again

2012/12/06

Last night several members of my family came by to help me put up Christmas decorations. And get this: I’m so overwhelmed that when my mother blessed the pizza she ordered for dinner I didn’t protest or gag obnoxiously.

My mother intuitively knew that I’ve been so swamped and stressed that I probably wouldn’t get around to this task until, oh, never. Let’s be honest. I’m barely keeping my head above water. The thought of hanging all those ornaments filled me with dread. Bah humbug.

This is Joshua, one of my sister’s twins. He and Marlo get along like bandits. This is surely going to get old if I keep it up, but I am so lucky that they are in my life. My kids are blessed I JUST USED THAT WORD OH MY GOD.
