This weekend I took the traveling circus (Tyrant, Dane, Leta, Marlo, my mother, my stepfather, and myself) to Arches National Park for work and to celebrate Leta’s 9th birthday. Dogs aren’t allowed in the park so that sideshow had to stay home (thanks, Julio, for taking good care of them!). There’s a much longer post to come about the whole experience, but I wanted to share this view from an arch called North Window. Pictures cannot do this landscape justice. The vast expanse really does knock you in the chest. We’re really lucky we live so close to this outstretched alien world.
Also, to the asshole who dropped their cigarette butt right there at the base of the arch: may a bird poop right in your mouth.
