Not only are the crate and the leash curbing all of Chuck’s destructive behavior, but they are also exhausting his brain. I remember both Chuck’s trainer and Coco’s trainer explaining that the energy used to adhere to rules can be just as good as physical exercise when it comes to tiring a dog out. And this photo proves it. Both dogs look like this for most of the day, whereas at the other house they’d wander around aimlessly looking to get into trouble.
