I was picking up the camera to get a good shot of Leta when I accidentally fired off a few shots. This was one of them, and I just love it. There’s so much here: the movement of her arm as she finishes strapping on her backpack, the happy line of her smile, her untamed brunette waves. Yes, she is joyous to be around. Age 9 has been so much fun. I’d like to stay here for awhile.
