Wow. I've never seen anything like that. I confine myself to the bunny slopes and the t-bar.

Beautiful! I miss snow so much now that I'm in Texas. Of course I'll be cursing it come May when we move to Alaska.

the trees are so pretty! it just looks like a giant bird pooped everywhere around here in the places there is still snow - your picture makes me want to go to a ski place and go tubing

If I found the concept of surfing one thousand foot avalanches exciting or if I desired to get frostbitten than I think I would now say:
Fun!

You should put more pictures of your big ski hills on Dooce so I can show my husband. He ski's at this place called Snow Trails here in DOH-hio and they have this hill called Mount Mansfield which he says is 'big'. I doubt it's as big as the small ones you have out there...he's a girl. hehee

This looks JUST like a scene from "The Thing" - y'know...where the creepy "thing" is taking over the snowy base. Did you see Kurt Russell? How does he look now?

I am also so jealous of that snow. It's 70 degrees here and rainy and humid. Everything is wet and gross. Snow looks so clean and wonderific.
Hrmph. I'm going to bite my pillow now.
