I'm trying to decide if in the next moment, she grabbed the camera lens...

or if her hands should have castanets in them

    Ole!

Is this interpretive dance, or is Leta winding up to lob something at the camera?

"signature color" ... that just made me think of that movie where Julia Roberts is all southern and Dolly Parton is in it, too. Dooce is a southern belle, and I see that Leta has also inheirited the "Look, I'm positively GORGEOUS!" gene. Darn mormon + southern genes.

What's the fascination with wondering why people like to be first?

Leta is so beautiful...such character in her face! She does look like she should be holding castanets or she is fencing or something.

    Kimberley,
that "southern belle" movie is steel magnolias, one of the best movies of all times!!! Every female should see that movie at one time or another, just be ready to bawl your eyes out.

From the 2004 Weblog Awards FAQ:

"Q: What about those ads on the left? Don't they bias the awards?

A: Those ads on the left sidebar are BlogAds, a fairly common site on blogs. The BlogAds help defray the costs of this enterprise. Those ads just so happen to be the ads that run on Wizbang (since this is a short term event). No endorsement of any product is stated or implied. Last I checked one ad is for a documentary, and the other for some Bush gear, hardly "bias" material. Those same ads run on lots of other blogs. If anti-Bush merchandise ads are purchased those will run as well..."

So it's not *directly* sponsored by Pro-Bushies, but that's neither here nor there anyway. Dooce is the best one in her category, and she deserves to win!

Fish....Let me break down your advice. If I don't want to read the comment don't....How do I know I don't want to read the comment unless I read the comment?
Might I suggest using your own advice and if you don't like my comments....ignore them. You see what you have here is your own little virtual Utopia where you can say and do what ever you want as long as it falls into your likings. The second someone makes a comment that goes against your grain....You pounce on it...Then you hope that Dooce will use the power of Good over Evil. Evil is what? You all use words like Shit...Damn....Fuck.....Bitch among others and those are all accepted. It's just the fact that someone interrupts your idea of the perfect little room in Internet paradise that gets you upset. You sort of have a lynch mob mentality...that of which if someone does something that doesn't fit into your categories they must be banned from existence.
As for Sarah’s comments…..I don’t make it my morning coffee to be first…so therefore I won’t ever be first just to be first unless it’s a complete act of the Devil.
So in conclusion Fish and Sarah…If you don’t like my comments….ignore them and pass over them like the wise Fish stated.

p.s. Don’t let petty comments on the Internet be the basis of your mood for the entire day.

She looks like she's about to bitch slap the camera out of your hand. Ha!

I used to play a game with my little girl where I'd say "I'm lookin' atchoo with BIG EYES!!!" and open my eyes really big (and psycho-like) and that is what this picture makes me think of. Try it with Leta and see what she does. Or just do the wide-open-eyed look and yell BIG EYES!!! that works, too.

    Kano, I was honestly joking.

But as for the lynch mob mentality of this site, as you call it, I've only seen you make harsh comments about the other commenters here, never really about anything else.
In essence, you seem to be the sort of person who enjoys picking a fight, and that really invites comments back. I think you enjoy it, and that's fine.
I'm glad if you are having a good time, I think we all have fun here otherwise we wouldn't keep coming back again and again.

No hard feelings, seriously, at least not from me.

The whole family now knows who Leta, Jon, Chuch and Heather are. They are not sure about GEORGE! yet though.

The girls like the pictures of Leta and Tyler (the 14 year old boy who would give his liver to have a dog of his own) wants to see more pictures about Chuck.

Oh god, I had the weirdest dream I was at a concert and Bono fell in love with me. I think now would be a good time to go look up what Bono looks like.

    Kristine~just woke up,forgive me.

Nope, he's not my type. Why can't I have dreams like that with say..Brett Favre or Ben Roethlisberger?
I had a 'love' dream with Fraiser's brother Miles (?) and for 3 days I walked around with a crush on him!

Ignore the stupid comments about you needing therapy. I think you're a wonderful mother. I can't tell you how much of a fantastic mother I think you are. Plus, Lets is the most gorgeous baby ever. I don't blame you for eating her all up. No wonder Chuck slobers all over her. He thinks the same thing!
