Groundhog phone call

I just got off the phone with a reporter for the Associated Press who is doing a story on ... roll the drums please ... BLOGGING AND THE WORKPLACE. The gist of the conversation went like this: yes I got fired, no it didn't seem fair, yes, it was legal -- a sentence I have recited about as many times as the Pledge of Allegiance. Then he went on to ask me what I was doing now, where did I live? Do I still maintain my website? Am I the sole maintainer of my website? And I got this sinking feeling like I have in all the other past interviews I've done about getting fired for this website that THEY HAVE NOT EVEN LOOKED AT MY WEBSITE. He even asked me to spell out my name.

I wanted to say K-O-T-T-K-E. That's two T's.
