The challenges of modern marriage

I'm thinking that my mom never had to turn over in bed to tell my father to please turn down his laptop, she can hear every word to that new Apple iPhone commercial he's watching on YouTube, did he really have to watch it right now at two in the morning WHILE SHE'S TRYING TO SLEEP. I know that this is a better problem to have than say, being jolted awake by the rush of a flash flood as it topples the walls of the adobe, but suddenly I'm longing for simpler times when our biggest nighttime struggle was keeping Jon from trying to warm his cold feet in the crack of my butt.
