A Woman's Work

The dog has been packed and carted off to Grandma's house. The baby has been packed (whew! does that kid have some gear!) and picked up by Grandmommie. (NOTE: Grandma is Jon's mother, Grandmommie is my mother, one lives 30 minutes North, the other lives 30 minutes South). The bed has been made, the dishwasher has been unloaded, the living room rug has been vacuumed. The bags have been packed, the car has been cleaned, the plants on the front porch have been watered. The only thing left is the procedure: it needs to be reconvened.

The daily photo won't be updated for the next couple of days as we will be in the process of reconvenience up in the mountains where we won't have Internet access. Lots of photos will be taken of trees and leaves and large liquor bottles. Sadly, there will be no dog to jump on the bed in the middle of the night, or a very awake and hungry baby calling out at 6:30 AM.

OH, THE SLEEPING IN THAT WILL BE DONE.
