My father and I talked about movies earlier today over the phone, and at one point in the conversation he asked me, "Do you ever watch your DVDs with the subtitles turned on, just so that you don't miss anything they're saying?" And I tried to hold in my laughter but I couldn't because that is just so cute, and I answered, "No, Dad, that's just something old people like to do."

As if that wasn't mean enough, I didn't even tell him about the part where I listen to the television and the radio as if I'm trying to hear them from the grave. It just wouldn't have helped my argument.
