Sunset over the Pacific

We're renting a small place near the beach in Orange County for the week to take a much needed break from winter, and last night a stranger walking by asked me why I was taking a picture of the sunset when it wasn't even the tiniest bit magnificent. I forgot that when you live here you don't realize how criminally beautiful it is all the time, and that it took moving away to an extreme climate for me to appreciate weather like this. So I told the guy, look, it isn't snowing, and I'm wearing flip-flops in February. THIS THE VERY DEFINITION OF MAGNIFICENT.
