Last week the bad news hit that domino magazine folded, news that crushed me since it was by far my favorite shelter mag. In the past year, two of my other favorites had to close operations, House & Garden and Cottage Living, and I'm just hoping that some of the others like Met Home and Elle Decor can hang in there. Thank God I kept every issue of domino, plus I have this copy of Domino: The Book of Decorating which is a collection of some of the best rooms and ideas featured in its pages over the last three or so years. I will sorely miss the monthly inspiration I got by flipping through its pages and ogling the featured homes.
