Monetizing The Hate

I know we’ve all mentioned it on here before, how mommyblogging is such a relatively new phenomenon that there’s no long term case studies on how it’ll affect the people who do it and their kids? Well, Dooce is 11 years old and I think we’re coming up on our first real long term case study on the results mommyblogging has on the families involved and the results: not good.

Perhaps it is just my general dislike of her antics speaking but I tire of the way people are all “YEW ARE SO SMAHT” when she and other bloggers are lauded for doing things the rest of us do without making such a song and fucking dance about it.
