One of the activities on Leta’s list of things to do when she’s bored is to make “puzzles.” When I saw that bullet point I had a very vague idea of what she was talking about, but in no way did I think she’d whip up something like this. And she did this in about five minutes. And then she was bored again.

She wanted me to solve it while she watched so I took my time to make her believe that it was a very difficult word search. When I was done she said, “Wow, Mom. You’re really good at this!” I told her that this is what happens when you pay for a degree in English at BYU. You get really good at word puzzles and confessing to your bishop that you went a little too far making out with your boyfriend.
