This here bringer of the pooper to the fun party

This kid better get used to hand-me-downs

  • Congrats to everyone, but especially Leta, since she’ll have someone to pass all that princess information onto. Imagine the dress up parties they’ll have!

  • And they called her Aurora for to them she was like the sunrise….

  • Congrats!

Poor Jon and Chuck. Completely outnumbered. And just watch — Princess Aurora will turn out to be a total jock, as different from Leta as Coco is from Chuck, meaning that not only will you have to relearn everything but that Leta will be intensely frustrated. (I base this presumption upon what would be the most ironic, which is how things have generally turned out with regards to babies I’ve known.)

  • Jan

    Congratulations!

  • Congrats! As a mom of 3 boys, maybe we could work out some sort of occasional kid-trade. Either that your hubs could come hang out here every once in a while and bask in the testosterone poisoning. I could hang out with you and do girl stuff. Whatever that is.

  • Maria

Yay for girls! I have three and it is the BEST!

  • Amanda in WI

No better relationship in the world than that of sisters.
    Congrats from bitterly freezing WI.

  • Chris

    Congrats Heather, that’s awesome news.

  • Congrats! I am so happy for all of you! Girls are the best!

  • Congrats!!!!!! Like you probably needed more princess crowns laying around the house.

  • simone

congrats again on the little girl

  • MK

    Sisters rock.

  • Good for you, Heather!

Man, it was so weird to see those pink letter pointing out Girl Parts. I was so convinced that this baby was going to be a boy! But yeah, girls rule. Especially three Armstrongs.
Nevertheless, I’m really happy and excited and secretly visiting your site multiple times a day to see if there’s any pregnancy news. I cannot wait to see baby pictures.

Good luck and don’t vomit too much.

  • I love Leta’s name. I can’t wait to hear what you come up with for Kid v.2.0.

I don’t know how people who choose to be surprised can stand the wait. I’m so glad you aren’t one of those!

    CONGRATS!

  • Lyndsey

    Girl Power!!!

  • Congratulations! My mum grew up in a house with four girls, and my grandad survived, so Jon will make it!! He’s just going to need some “alone time” do to all the “man stuff” to keep him sane.

Can’t wait to hear what you guys decide to name her!

  • Julie

  • –>Congratulations on seeing “burger and buns” on the ultrasound.

Love hand me downs and now there is more justification for buying things for Leta now that they can be used twice.
