My friend Derek Powazek published this forty-page magazine about the record-breaking dust storm that recently blew through Australia:
At its peak, the storm swept up 140,000 tons of soil per hour. In spite of the worst dust storm in 70 years, intrepid photographers ventured outside to document what was happening to their homes, neighborhoods, and country. This is what they saw.
It’s a stunning collection made even more so by the fact that it only took 31.5 hours from idea to publication. Excellent work, Derek! So inspiring!
