It’s a “red air quality” day here in the valley. This means that if you do any sort of activity outside that your lungs will fill with toxic pollution and you’ll die. It looks like a thick layer of fog is just sitting on top of the city right now, but no. It’s pollution. It’s crap. It looks like some crazy sci-fi movie about the earth after an apocalypse has ravaged the landscape. So I’m going to sit here for a second and remember the gorgeous, lush greenery hanging outside my window in Jacmel, Haiti, a slight breeze coming in off the ocean to temper the 90 degree weather.
