Along the route
Yesterday we all attended the Utah Pride Parade in perfect weather (sunscreen thoroughly applied). The girls loved the candy and necklaces and rainbow-colored balloons, the signs and costumes, and the company of Dane, Tyrant and Julio who have all become a part of our family. I feel so lucky for their friendship, but even luckier for the love and example they have given to my girls. A day of gratitude.
I am certain that one day they will look back at all the photos I took yesterday, and we will talk about this generation’s civil rights movement and how we won.
