There is so much complaining about selfies these days, that it’s an indicator that our culture is moving toward being more self-absorbed and narcissistic blahblahblah. They said that about mommyblogging, too, but what I would give to have more pictures of my mother when she was in her teens and twenties and thirties. Our kids will have so much to pore over when they are our age. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

(No, I did not get my hair cut. It’s pulled back into a very messy ponytail.)
