Mirror Lake

A couple of weeks ago I headed up into the High Uintas to take a small hike around Mirror Lake. You can see where it got its name, but would you look at the snow on Bald Mountain? There were pockets of snow throughout the hike, just a little taste of what’s to come. And yes, it was very cold. And no, I didn’t dress appropriately which seems to be my M.O. when exploring my home state.
