jon may not have verified that the gate was closed, but i’m still convinced the real reason he is so protective of your real address is so that nobody tries to dog-nap chuck!

  • Colleen from NJ

    2004/12/31 at 5:32 am

    He has Leta’s eyebrows.

You’re almost making me want one… my ear-scratching fingers are getting walloped.

Everyone, have a fantastic, healthy and happy New Year!
We are going to do Similac shots here until the baby is incontinent and passes out.

I sense the comments today will have a “cute” and “adorable” saturation rate of about 98.756%.

Here’s my input: Chuck rocks the house! He’s cute!

Yes, I’d like the Chuck In A Basket, and a side of fries.

What a cupcake. Happy New Year, Dooce, Jon, Leta, Chuck, and all y’all Dooceaholic commenters (yes, we just can’t get enough Dooceahol).

There was a time when I crocheted a baby blanket and the family receiving it used it for the cat. I got upset–I mean all that work! for the Cat!
But my neighbor lady pointed out that pets are a major part of any family, and once a gift is given I should just hope for the best.
Now I see puppy Chuckles on a hand-tied comforter and just know he is well-loved and taken care of. Happy New Year! to someone who keeps my perspective open, and to All of Dooceland for great entertainment and education.

    lulu – you are funny.

I was in Providence for Christmas and almost went to the pottery store where you sell your stuff. But then thought that might be a little stalker-ish and weird.

Hi. I’m Heather B. Armstrong, and this used to be called mommy blogging. But then they started calling it Influencer Marketing: hashtag ad, hashtag sponsored, hashtag you know you want me to slap your product on my kid and exploit her for millions and millions of dollars. That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
