In the fall of 1996 I spent several months in London on a study abroad program offered by BYU. I had just turned 21 and I count the months I spent in England as some of the most glorious months of my life. I often have dreams about the Victorian dorms we stayed in near Kensington Palace and watching Princess Diana’s red helicopter land nearby, and when I wake up I’m a little sad that I didn’t get just one more day to enjoy that city, a city that always felt like home.

I found it especially hard to watch the images of the city this morning on the news. The world reached out to us when we were terrorized, it’s our turn to reach out to you lot. May you be safe and well.
