North of Dhaka

On our second day in Bangladesh we visited a slum on the northern side of Dhaka which was working to improve its drinking water and sanitation issues. It had just rained, so the usual dust had turned to thick mud and there were kids everywhere, kids whose giant eyes flickered with just a hint of mischief. Beauty amid the debris.
