Evening pane

This is last night’s sunset as seen through the window flanking the right side of the front door, one of the windows I used to keep an eye on the white bird who came to my doormat to die. Sunsets in the winter here tend toward the other-wordly, and this one was no different, distorted and arranged into a grid by the window.

If the world ends today I hope it’s spectacular.
