Yesterday the sun came out for the first time in what seems like eons, and Marlo who greeted one of the first snowstorms of the season with a display of glee that it did not deserve could not have been happier about it. One morning last week when we woke up to an inch of snow on the ground she looked out the back door, slumped over to emphasize her forlornness and mumbled, “What a disthaster.”
This is what the snow in Utah will do to you. It will steal your glee and turn you into a lisping curmudgeon.
