the smell of my desperation has become a stench

Across cultures

I have been traveling pretty much nonstop since the middle of April: Palm Springs, Atlanta, New York, Hawaii, Southeast Asia and then Minnesota. I have hard drives worth of photos to process and share, so many different landscapes and people and experiences. I spent a few hours yesterday going through only one card of photos I took while on the lake in Wisconsin, two more from that trip alone await my attention.

This is from my trip to Southeast Asia. I love how an ancient religion and a future technology are coupled in this photo, the old and new so seamlessly married in a fleeting moment. Meditation can wait for later.

That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
