Hawaii

Sarong song

While in Maui I stopped by a souvenir shop and bought way too many trinkets for the girls: Hawaiian-themed pencils, wallets, eyeglass cases, candy leis, and these colorful sarongs. Marlo ran around all night and all morning with the pink one tied as a cape around her neck claiming she was a “Hawaiian Hero.” And then she followed Coco around trying to tie the blue one to her neck so they could be heroes together. She also slept with the pink one last night, her “special Hawaiian thing.”

“It’s called a SARONG,” I explained again and again.

“Yes,” she replied. “My Hawaiian thing.”

As much work as she can be, this age is so magical, RIGHT, CHUCK? RIGHT, COCO? You love her constant attention, admit it.
