Essex

Just another shot I took while stopping very quickly to catch the colors along Ebben Creek in Essex, Massachusetts:
Utah is its own kind of beautiful and, frankly, quite hard to beat: Moab, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Flaming Gorge, Monument Valley, not to mention the best snow for skiing and snowboarding in the country (yes, I will be so bold as to say that). It’s beauty is a lot more bold and loud. You don’t get a lot of quiet and quaint and subtle in Utah. That’s what I see when I come to Massachusetts which is ironic given how loud the people here can be. Good god, the voices yelling over each other in a restaurant.
“LOBSTAH! I’LL HAVE THE LOBSTAH!”
