You guys, I did it. I ran the whole 26.2 miles in 4:48:40. I can barely walk today, and I have no idea how I’m going to make it from the cab to the gate at the airport, but it doesn’t matter. I finished and I’m so damn happy.
I have so much to tell you (and a slew of tips I thought I could have used along the way). Expect an epic post very soon. Also, to those of you who were along the course and cheered me on, you will never know how big my heart swelled in my chest. Flat out one of the best days of my life.
