Little whirl serving dish

Bronx-based ceramist Kim Westad sent me this hand-thrown and altered porcelain dish from her collection. While it was probably intended for use as a food serving dish, I found the shape of it to be a perfect place to store some of the jewelry on my messy dresser. This is actually one of three different dishes that I'm currently using to store my jewelry, and I find that having it all out in the open makes it so that I don't waste my life searching for a missing earring. That's my domestic tip for the day.
