An unfiltered fire hose of flaming condemnation

Decorative doormat

I’ve had the hardest time finding sturdy, quality doormats that are well designed and don’t cost a fortune. We’re particularly hard on our doormats because of the horrible Utah winters and going back and forth with our snow-covered boots, so we usually have to replace them every other season. I found this cute one at Target (I cannot find a link to it on their website), and since it was under twenty bucks I bought two and now have one at both the front and back doors. If you want to see some horrifying design, do a Google search on “doormat” and just watch as the jaunty pigs and the bow-tied ducks and the fish with thought bubbles floating over their heads come flying at you.

Hi. I’m Heather B. Armstrong, and this used to be called mommy blogging. That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
