I didn’t realize how rarely I see a sunset anymore until I had to pick up Jon from the airport the other night. We’re usually in the midst of our dinner/nighttime routine with the kids, and I love to spend that time with them. But those few quiet moments on the freeway as I chased the sun brought back waves of memories when life was simultaneously so simple and yet so much more complicated than what we have now.
