the smell of my desperation has become a stench

Somewhere over western New York

I looked back at my calendar and realized I didn’t have to travel for work at all during the month of June. That doesn’t mean that my life didn’t take its usual twists and turns like any other parent and over there was a four-day stretch of no sleep. But, no planes. Sometimes that is a blessing. June was one of those times.

I just returned from a non-work related plane trip involving (you guessed it) this guy. I whittled away at some projects on the plane ride there and back, but in between I got to go to the beach and relax and sleep and eat a ton of gluten. I’m very grateful for the break.

That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
