An unfiltered fire hose of flaming condemnation

The opposite sunset

I think it’s due to the structure of my day, the fact that I’m usually at home fixing the kids dinner and starting the bedtime routine, that I don’t get to see a lot of sunsets here in Utah. The house is surrounded by huge trees so seeing one from here is virtually impossible. Every night in Canada I’d marvel at the entire sky, the sunset itself, but also the reflection of it bouncing around different spots across the horizon, red, yellow, pink and purple. So much purple. I wanted to take the sky home with me as a souvenir, roll it around in my hands every night and inspect it from every angle. Other than some much needed rest that is the most valuable gift this trip gave me: I got reacquainted with the sky.

That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
