the smell of my desperation has become a stench

They (heart) sleepovers

Leta’s friend Gigi spent the night on Saturday after having spent almost two whole days together on play dates. Leta hasn’t ever really had this close of a friendship before, and again, I feel really blessed that they found each other. This morning they both gave oral presentations in class and I stuck around to see Gigi give hers on the state fruit: the cherry. She did a fantastic job, and when she got to the end to answer questions from other students I sat there in awe as she fired off answers left and right, BOOM BOOM BOOM, like, is that all you’ve got? Well, done, Gigi. I bought more mac and cheese for your next visit.

Heather B. Armstrong

Hi. I’m Heather B. Armstrong, and this used to be called mommy blogging. That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
