An unfiltered fire hose of flaming condemnation

I am indulgently sitting on a balcony overlooking the Pacific ocean in Maui, here for a few more days for a girls’ trip that has so far demolished at least seven bottles of sunscreen. This is my first time visiting Hawaii, and I cannot describe how beautiful and healing it is. So much color and life and the constant sound of surf. Off now to do some morse sunbathing. Which, when you’ve been cut open several times because of skin cancer looks a lot like this:
