Marvelous Maeve

My cousin McKenzie came up to my mother’s house on Sunday with her daughter Maeve who is now ten months old. And walking. And weighs more than Leta. Words and photos cannot capture the stunning beauty of this baby, and all of us sat around for three straight hours watching her, soaking her in, laughing at her crazy noises, resisting the urge to squeeze her silly. We knew that Kenzie would give birth to a gorgeous kid, but we were not in any way prepared for this. Such a treasure to witness this fleeting infancy.
