An unfiltered fire hose of flaming condemnation

Bagpipes in Edina

The girls and I flew to Minneapolis last Thursday afternoon to visit our good friends Chris and Carol who moved to Edina, Minnesota from SLC a few years ago. The following morning we attended the local parade full of veterans and military tanks, school bands and cheer teams, people passing out candy, all celebrating the Fourth of July. I always get chills when I hear bagpipes, and Friday was no different. However, Marlo immediately covered her ears and started moaning.

“That’s the worst sound I ever heard!” she screamed.

This is your Scottish heritage, child. You best come to embrace it.

That’s how this shit works. Now? Well… sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
