Basie

If I remember correctly Chris was not a fan of adopting a dog back in 2008, but it didn’t take long for Basie to win him over and now she is basically his favorite thing in the world (don’t tell his kids). You should hear that dog howl when he enters the room. I often think back to the time I spent volunteering at the Humane Society and how lucky Basie was that I was there on that specific day. I remember her curled up in a small crate hoping for a better future, and look at her now. Her future couldn’t have been spent with more adoring owners.
