When I get the chance to take the dogs on a hike I usually head up this path in the hills toward the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. They probably don’t give two shits and are just relieved to be outside, but I feel really lucky that this is what they get to explore. I’m sure they’d be just as happy with the sights and scents of downtown Los Angeles, but I’m one of those annoying dog owners who hopes they are just a tiny bit human.
