winter

Silent and gray

You can’t tell from this photo I took while taking the dogs out for a hike on Saturday that the air was clear and crisp and not full of belching yellow particles that so routinely clog up the sky in January. Last year I don’t remember seeing the sun except for a couple of times during this month, and already I’ve seen it in full bloom for days at a time. Just being able to see clouds is a luxury. So I’m making a point to get outside more this year, if only on the days when the air quality is safe and not in danger of incinerating my lungs if I yawn. I love Utah!
