Sooty

Obviously there is something in our chimney that Chuck is fascinated with because he spends hours, literally hours, standing with his head inside the fireplace in our bedroom. We can't smell any dead bodies or hear any birds or squirrels, so we have no idea what's up there that's causing this obsession in him. So I'm asking you, does your dog ever do this? Is there some secret he's in on? Also, I'm going to leave the soot on his forehead for a few days because every time I look at him it makes me laugh, and I like giving myself treats like that throughout the day.
