Yeah! This is a new feature, or something. Maybe I’m just really excited about some new music I heard recently. And now, maybe you’re the victim! Let’s call it CSI:BLOG.
You guys, I have a lot of new music to share with you. And the thing is, the thing is, if you knew of this stuff and didn’t share it with me I’d be mad at you. So I don’t want you to be mad at me, not like you and I are the same person, BUT OMG WE ARE!
You have to hear this song. But because I am embedding a YouTube video, it means you can ignore it. If you do, you are totally missing out and I will reluctantly refrain from calling you a dillpimple.
Because you will be missing out. Listen to this: according to this guy’s Wikipedia entry, he was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida. But when you hear this you will turn to me like Jon did, like Jon who served his Mormon mission in 1984 in Manchester, England and heard The Smiths practicing in a garage for one of their first albums, and say, “That’s Morrissey!”
No, actually, it’s not. It’s George Lewis Jr. And this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written (or more accurately, it’s Twin Shadow with “Slow”):
“I don’t wanna, believe, but be, in love
I don’t wanna, be, believing, in love”
(P.S. The video is not meant to be taken seriously. Close your eyes and listen to it, otherwise all hate mail should be sent to my mom.)
